Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer therapy sessions in both Georgian and English. You are welcome to choose the language in which you feel most comfortable expressing your thoughts, emotions, and inner experiences.

  • I provide both options depending on what fits your life and comfort levels best. In-person sessions are held at my private practice, Insight, located in a calm, welcoming space at Kote Makharadze #1 in Tbilisi. If you are outside Tbilisi or prefer the convenience of your own space, we can meet via secure online video sessions.

  • It is completely normal to feel anxious or overwhelmed before your first session stepping into therapy takes courage. Please know that you don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive, and you don't have to talk about anything you aren't ready to share.

    Our first session is simply a gentle space for us to get to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to experience, and how we can best work together. There is no judgment here just a safe, collaborative space where you can step into your own safety at your own pace.

  • Standard therapy sessions last 50-60 minutes. For most clients, meeting once a week is ideal, especially in the beginning, as it helps build momentum and a strong therapeutic relationship. However, the frequency of our sessions can be adjusted based on your personal needs, goals, and schedule.

  • Absolutely. Your privacy and trust are foundational to our work together. Everything discussed within our sessions is strictly confidential, adhering to professional psychological and ethical standards. The only exceptions to this rule are situations where there is an explicit, immediate risk of harm to yourself or someone else.
